Carlos has motivational speaking skills where he can speak to teens in a way that they genuinely understand. While Carlos has a great natural aptitude for public speaking, he also works diligently to hone his craft. Carlos is a joy to work with because he has the type of attitude that is optimistic in a very encouraging way.
He is a very caring, hilarious, engaging professor. He was an ex-parole officer so therefore he has some hands-on experience. He makes sure that everyone understands the topics so don't be afraid to ask questions. If you are having some problems/difficulties talk to him so that ya can work something out.

Dr. Robinson connected with me, and she really spoke to me. Something I liked about the workshop was that people got to share their feelings. Something I liked was that Dr. Robinson spoke about how we have to say positive things to ourselves and not think about the negative, and use the coping skills we learned today. Mrs. Washington's presentation was outstanding. It helped bring about a better understanding of abuse and also offered up guidance on different approaches that will assist victims resolve traumas/seek professional counseling to begin the healing process. It was a pleasure to have Mrs. Washington as one of our keynotes speakers addressing such a sensitive and delicate topic and we hope to work with her on our future endeavors.

Avril Management Education serves middle school (grades 6–8), high school, collegiate institutions, corporations, and community-based organizations. Our work supports students, educators, administrators, staff, families, and corporate teams.
We operate in environments where culture, behavior, mental health, leadership development, and system stability directly affect performance and outcomes. All services are developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned, and customized to meet institutional needs.
AM is not a single-service vendor—we are an integrated solutions partner.
Most providers operate in silos: mental health separated from discipline, mentorship disconnected from instruction, professional development isolated from culture. AM deploys coordinated teams of licensed clinicians, educators, mentors, and prevention specialists working within one unified framework: the AVRIL Core Pillars.
We do not duplicate systems. We stabilize them, strengthen them, and transfer ownership back to institutions with measurable, sustainable results.
Yes. AM provides both clinical and non-clinical services through clearly defined service divisions.
- Clinical services are delivered exclusively by licensed professionals and comply fully with NYS Mental Health Codes, HIPAA, FERPA, and DOE standards.
- Non-clinical services include mentorship, SEL, prevention, leadership development, and professional training, delivered by accredited specialists.
AM is DOE vendor-certified, Project Pivot vendors, M/WBE certified, accredited, bilingual (Spanish & Haitian Creole), and operates under strict confidentiality protocols, role-based data access, and institution-approved reporting structures. Institutions retain full ownership of their data at all times.
Implementation begins with a consultation and needs assessment. Based on findings, AM deploys the appropriate AM Ambassadors and designs a customized service plan aligned to institutional goals.
Service delivery may include:

- Small-group and one-on-one services
- Classroom and advisory integration
- Assemblies, workshops, and professional development
- Leadership coaching and sustainability planning
